Plink · independent films and web series, where the audience decides
Thriller · Film · from SweeneyWorks Studios
Late-night host Riley Wyatt is broadcasting The Insomnia Hour alone in her apartment. She banters with listeners about pizza, night shifts, and ordinary avoidance until she discovers her own 2012 obituary on the laptop: she died in a car crash on the way home from a show. The realization cracks the broadcast. Equipment glitches, a voice on the line tells her she is already dead, and she begins to understand she has been haunting her own space—staying in the noise and the static because it was easier than accepting what happened. She says goodbye to the audience, thanks them for keeping her company in the quiet, and signs off with the line that she will haunt responsibly. The transmission ends.
On Plink every creator runs their own network, with as many channels as they want and shows on each, and films compete head to head: a vote only counts from someone who watched both films. Guides for filmmakers
